Esther Horn Krueger, 93
SMYRNA - Esther Horn Krueger was born August 6, 1929, at her grandparent's farm in Harrington, DE. Esther passed away on April 12, 2023 (her late son's birthday) at the Hospice Center in Milford, DE.
Esther is a proud 1942 graduate of Harrington High School. She received her business degree from Goldy Beacom College in 1949. She worked in education at various State of Delaware agencies, retiring in 1989 from Dover High School.
Esther was a member of several clubs and groups, three very important to her were the Dover Century Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Mrs. Krueger was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Krueger Sr; her son, Richard Krueger Jr.; and her twin sister, Sadie Horn Marker.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Manahan Martin (Ed Martin); her grandson, Kevin B. Robeson; a great grandson whom she adored, Mason B. Robeson; nephews, Frank Angstadt & Gordon St. Mary; nieces, Charlene Chappel, Sherry Melendez & Barbara Carrow; extended family and friends.
Memorial Service Thursday, April 20, 2023, 1 pm at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, DE; friends may gather starting at 12 noon. Private interment of cremated remains at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE.
Memorials may be made to Delaware Hospice or Nemours Children's Hospital.
