Ernest C. Creed

Greenwood - On Feb. 2, 2018, Ernest C. Creed, formally from Frederica went home to be with the Lord at the Delaware Hospice Center.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on March 1, 1925, to the late Charles and Susanna Creed.
Ernie honorable served our country in the Army Air Corp during World War II.
Mr. Creed was a lifetime member of the Frederica volunteer fire company (56 years). He also worked at and retired from the civil service at Dover Air Force Base.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anne S. Creed. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert J. Seward; his sister-in-law, Norma Lee Messick; his nephews, Rodney L. Messick and his wife Yolonda, David Seward and his mate Beverly, and Robbie Seward; his nieces, Susan Patton and her husband Ronald, Nancy Miles and her husband Jesse, and Linda Clark and her husband Roger; his great nephews, James Patton, and Joshua and Jacob Messick. He is also survived by other great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews, and great great nieces.
Mr. Creed was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Robert Messick; and sister-in-law, Mary B. Seward.
Services were held privately, and in care of Rogers Funeral Home.
