Erma Lorraine Kaufman

CAMDEN-WYOMING - Erma Lorraine (Hedrick) Kaufman, formerly of Hatfield, Pa., died on Fri., Aug. 5, 2016. She was the wife of the late Virgil H. Kaufman. Born Dec. 30, 1928 in Hatfield she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mabel (Hendricks) Hedrick. Erma loved to listen to books on tape, play solitaire and watch "Under Cover Boss" and bowling. She loved dining out and eating ice cream. Erma is survived by two children, daughter, Karen L. Kaufman and her wife Amanda J Talley-Kaufman; and her son, Timothy C. Kaufman and his longtime partner, Ronald Bongart; her nephew, Scott Sowden, his significant other Mary Pat McDevitt; and his children, Ben, Sarah and Josh; her niece, Denise Casey and her husband Steven; their sons, Jordan Casey and his wife Taylor, Evan Casey and his wife Mayi; and their daughters, Gracie and Ellie. In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by a son, Cameron M. Kaufman; a sister, Arlene (Hedrick) Sowden; and a brother, Carl Hedrick Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Fri., Aug. 12th at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery, 267 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pa.? In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Macular Degeneration Research, a BrightFocus Foundation Program.
