Kennedy, 89 GEORGTOWN - Ercell Walker Kennedy of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at the Seaford Center on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Thorpe, W. Va, to the late Samuel and Cora Walker. She worked as a nurse's aide until she retired and attended the Hickory Hill UM Church in Millsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Kennedy; and her son, Daniel Kennedy Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Jones; the daughter of her heart Susan Simmons Collins; and her husband, Preston; nieces, Patricia Baker, Carol Shew, Janet Bland, Jeanie Bailey; nephew, Johnny Walker; and sister, Avis Christian.
