Emma G. Sibitzky, 81

CLAYTON - Emma G. Sibitzky of Clayton passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 81.

Mrs. Sibitzky was born Feb. 18, 1926, in Long Island, N.Y., daughter of the late Augustus and Lillian (Porter) Green.

Mrs. Sibitzky was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family.

She attended Asbury United Methodist Church, Smyrna, and was a member of Citizens' Hose Fire Co.'s Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed attending church services at the Full Gospel Church in Clayton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton W. Sibitzky; a sister, Grace Slaughter; and two brothers, Frank Green and Augustus Green.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Ross and her husband Victor and Carolyn Blendt and her husband Ernest; three sons, Milton C. Sibitzky, Richard Sibitzky and his wife Sharon and James Sibitzky; two sisters, Gloria Brittingham and Marguerite Salmons; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Citizens Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 97, Smyrna, DE 19977; or to a local church.
