Elton Raymond Trenn

FELTON- Elton Raymond Trenn passed away, Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. Born, August 13, 1957, in Flushing Hospital, Queens, N.Y., Elton was raised in Long Island, N.Y., before moving to Connecticut, and then relocating to Delaware. Elton had been working as a truck driver and mechanic, for Atlantic Concrete, Milford, Del. , for the past ten years. During his time at Atlantic, he had received the Driver of the Year Award many times and was considered one of their best drivers. Elton was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams being the San Francisco 49 ers, and New York Mets. He also was a super avid NASCAR fan; he never missed a race on television and always rooted for his favorite driver Mark Martin. Elton was a very loving husband and dad, and he had a special place and pride in his heart for each one of his grandchildren. Elton is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janet (Chagnon) Trenn; his children Frank Allen Paul, Jr. and wife Susan, of Uncasville,Conn., Lorrie Ann(Paul) Jenkins and husband Donald, of Foxboro, Mass..; Charles Robert Paul and wife Christina, of Pleasanton,Calif..; his parents Elton and Ruth(Yentsch) Trenn, of Long Island,N.Y.; a brother Ronald Trenn of Wantagh,N.Y.; a sister and brother-in-law-Julie(Trenn) and David Perez, of Staten Island, N.Y.; grandchildren Renee', Stephan, Melissa, Alexandra, Karah, and Alia; nephews D.J., Matthew , and A.J. ; and a niece- Michaela; two sister in laws, Barbara Chagnon of Tenn. and Sue and Mike Mauro of Conn. and their sons Matthew and his wife Marci and Nicholas; and a great nephew Jamie. Elton had a wonderful sense of humor about life, and his favorite quote regarding his marriage to Jan was, "Jan and I stayed married to each other to keep two other people from being miserable!"
