Elsie T. Helm, 85

BRIDGEVILLE - Elsie T. Helm of Bridgeville passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 85.

Mrs. Helm was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Clarksburg, W.Va., daughter of the late Clarence P. and Oleeta (Moore) Tate.

She was a graduate of Victory High School, Clarksburg, and attended Potomac State College, Keyser, W.Va.

Mrs. Helm lived in Wayne, Pa., for many years before moving to Delaware, where she resided for 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis H. Helm; and a brother, Kenneth Tate.

She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Cynthia H. and Philip James of Phoenixville, Pa.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph C. and Tonda Helm of Houston, Texas, and Kenneth T. and Connie Helm of Darien, Ga.; a grandson, Brandon C. Helm of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a granddaughter, Jocelyn Eschelman of Houston, Texas.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville.

Father Albert F. Peters will officiate.

Burial will be private in Bridgeville Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Life Care of Lofland Park, 715 E. King St., Seaford, DE 19973; or to a charity of choice.
