Mother Elsie Smith, 96

WESTOVER, Md. - Mother Elsie Smith, age 96, of Westover, passed from this Earth to a new dimension on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by daughters, Corrine (Welton) Tull, and Christine Smith, with whom she resided; a sister: Evelyn Doanes; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Saturday at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Cottage Grove, Westover. Friends may call Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Floral deliveries accepted from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday at the church. Services by Deborah E.
