GEORGETOWN - Elsie M. Urie passed away on Mon., Aug. 12, 2013 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was born in Princess Anne, Md., the daughter of the late Alonzo and Rebecca (Tate) Alexander. She was a poultry farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Urie. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Brooks and her husband Owen of Milford; three grandchildren, Dion Brooks, Diane Revel and Dana Spruill; six great grandchildren, Meghan Shirky, Mallory Revel, Anthony Brooks, Derrick Brooks, Ashley Spruill and Alexis Spruill. Services will be private. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
