HARRINGTON - Eloise Price Shaffer Lank, 83, of Harrington, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Mrs. Lank was born in Harrington, the daughter of the late F. Lawrence and Alice (Thompson) Price. She was a graduate of Caeser Rodney High School. She worked as an administrative secretary and office manager at Delaware Electric Cooperative in Greenwood for 44 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrington; the Harrington Senior Center and AARP. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and loved to read. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John H. Shaffer of 46 years in 1994. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Albert H. Lank; a brother, Louis Price of Marlton, N.J.; a sister, Marian Culver, of Dover; a step son, Christopher Lank, of Milton; two step daughters, Janet B. Lank of Milton, and Sharon L. Owens of Lewes; six step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 200 Weiner Avenue, Harrington. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Asbury United Methodist Church, where friends called after 12 p.m. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to either the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720 or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
