Ella Evelyn Hutson

Greensboro - Ella Evelyn Hutson passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Caroline Nursing Home and Rehabilitation. She was the last of eleven children, born May 11, 1917, to the late Daniel and Wortha Bullock Eveland. Ella was a seamstress for the George A. Reach Glove Factory for 25 years, Leeds Luggage in Smyrna, Del., Therma Link in Denton and she ran her own wallpaper business on the side. Ella was also a member of the Greensboro Fire Company Auxiliary but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, John F. Hutson and daughter, Shirley Ann Moore-Fraiser. She is survived by her children, Wayne Hutson of Greensboro, Medford D. Hutson of Oil City, Joe Hutson of Greensboro, Patsy Jean Shockley of Clayton, Del.; and a granddaughter, whom she helped raise, Cindy Warren of Woodside, Del.; 20 grandchildren and numerous great & great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Ms. Hutson will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
