Elizabeth Scarborough

Scarborough, 75 Camden-Wyoming - Elizabeth "Betty" Scarborough of Camden-Wyoming passed away Thursday June 4, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. She was 75 years young. Betty was born November 26, 1939 in Jessup, Pennsylvania to the late John Inshetski and Elizabeth Biglin Inshetski. Betty was number eight of nine children. Betty and her husband Charles "Charlie" Scarborough shared 56 blissful years in matrimony. During their life together they traveled extensively while Charlie served in the U.S. Army which included tours in Thailand, Germany, Alaska and various places within the continental United States. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family consisting of four children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren which were the joys of her life. Her passion was traveling to visit her family. Betty's final years were spent enjoying the serenity of life in Camden with Charlie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister and her son in law, Mai Nguyen. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Scarborough, Sr. of Camden-Wyoming; children, Sheree Nguyen of Felton, Cindy Scarborough – Murray and her husband Daniel of Virginia Beach, Charles Scarborough, Jr. and his wife Tina of Anniston, Ala. and Lisa Piccolo and her significant other Jim Black of Newburg, Pa.; brother, Edward Inshetski and his wife Joan of New Holland, Pa.; sister, Faye Orcino and her husband John of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Christopher Scarborough, Dominco Piccolo, Michael Nguyen, Brittni Scarborough and Charles Scarborough, III; and great grandchildren, Kaden, Gionni and Hannah. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Torbert funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday evening. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
