Elizabeth M. Cannon

BRIDGEVILLE - Elizabeth M. Cannon, age 94, of Bridgeville, wife of the late Howard "Sarge/Sticks" Cannon, answered her Lord and Savior's call to come home to Heaven on Saturday, March 19, 2011, of natural causes. The devoted mother of Michael, Gregory "Cheese" Cannon; stepmother of Hollis and Howard Smack; and mother to grandchildren she raised, Mary Cannon (King) Winstead, and Troy and Brian Cannon; she is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, at Williams Chapel Church, 501½ N. Cannon St. in Bridgeville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Interment will be in Middleford Cemetery, Middleford. Services of compassion, dedication, and caring provided by: Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Home, Laurel. In lieu of flowers, donations contributions should be made payable to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
