Elizabeth L. (Boss) Gallant, 94
LEWES - Elizabeth L. (Boss) Gallant of Lewes passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes.
Mrs. Gallant was born in East Hampton, Mass., daughter of the late Joseph and Louisa (Picard) Boss.
Mrs. Gallant moved to the Lewes area in 1977.
She enjoyed reading, baking and playing the slots.
She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil T. Gallant in 1986.
She is survived by her son, Donald E. Jarvis and his wife Carol of Glenelg, Md.; a granddaughter, Janna Lynn Garcia and her husband Juan Carlos of Maspeth, N.Y.; a great-grandchild, Giovanni Garcia; and a sister, Eunice Callan of Worcester, Mass.
All services are private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163; or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
