Elizabeth K. Rodriguez Howard

CAMDEN - Elizabeth K. Rodriguez Howard passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at home. Elizabeth was born Jan. 12, 1961 in Manhattan, New York to the late Domingo and Elizabeth M. Rodriguez. She was a local attorney and managed Irish Mike's Old Towne Pub in Dover and also managed some rental properties. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her nephews. Was a dog lover in a category of her own. She loved to take her pack of four little critters on long walks where ever she could find open space. She had a special place in her heart for her step- children and grandchildren. She deeply loved the relationships with the girls at Irish Mikes, especially Jenn Pappas and Brittany Holland. She obtained a great sense of satisfaction in helping her domestic clients sort thru some of the most difficult issues in their lives. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her niece, Samantha Posey. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Kevin Howard of Camden; daughters, Bridget and Catherine Howard and Casey Shelor; grandchildren, Makenzie Ridenour, and Maddox Shelor, all of Camden; brother, David Rodriguez of Marlton, NJ; sister, Maria Posey of Boston, Mass; and nephews, Christopher and Ethan Rodriguez. A memorial service will be held 6PM, Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. There will be a remembrance service at Irish Mikes following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to First State Animal Center, SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
