Elizabeth Ann Kuschel SEAFORD - Elizabeth Ann Kuschel, of Seaford, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 80. Mrs. Kuschel was a homemaker and assisted her husband in his ministry of 32 years. She enjoyed playing the piano, and was an avid reader. She loved to sew, bake, and enjoyed camping, fishing and concerts with the family. She was really involved with genealogy as well and enjoyed researching and learning new things. She will be remembered as a happy person, who loved her family dearly, and who was always uplifting others and praying for them. Her personal outreach was working in soup kitchens and helping others in need. She passed along these traits to her children as she enjoyed teaching them most of all. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Greenwood, member of the Eastern Star, Past Worthy Matron, the United Methodist Women, and served as a youth group leader and camp counselor. In addition to her parents, William and Alice Hickey, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John William Kuschel. She is survived by a son, William; daughters, Mary Alice, and Ann Elizabeth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Zion United Methodist Church, Salisbury, Md., where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery, Salisbury. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
