NEWARK - Eleanor Q. Briden, of Newark, Del., passed away on Saturday, Mar. 31, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Noel, Jr.; two daughters, Susan Deckert and Grace Gates; four grandchildren, Carol Boyd, Jeanette Rhoades and Fenton and Billy Deckert; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 209 West Main Street, in Townsend where friends are invited to join her family in the fellowship hall immediately following services for lunch.
