Eleanor J. (Mansfield) Hanna, 83
DAGSBORO - Eleanor J. (Mansfield) Hanna of Dagsboro died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at her residence. She was 83.
Mrs. Hanna was born in Versailles, Pa., daughter of the late Lloyd and Ella (Solt) Mansfield.
She was formerly from Wilmington, relocating to Sussex County in 1984.
She had been employed as a portrait photographer in a department store.
Mrs. Hanna was a member of the Coastal Leisure Cheer Center, Ocean View.
She loved playing pinochle, and was an avid bowler and golfer. She was also passionate about Delaware Blue Hens football.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Hanna, in 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Glenn L. Hanna of Greenbelt, Md., and Wayne S. Hanna and his wife Charlotte of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Brian S. Hanna of Boston, Jeff W. Hanna of Wilmington and Brett L. Hanna and his wife Susan of Greenbelt, and their sons Robert and Sebastian; a great-grandson, Christopher Hanna; a sister, Betty Hanlon of Plum Boro, Pa.; and a half brother, Tom Lewis of Seminole, Fla.
The family invites friends and neighbors to gather at Eleanor's residence at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, to celebrate and remember her life.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Membership Club at Coastal Leisure Cheer Center, P.O. Box 637, Ocean View, DE 19970.
Interment will be at private.
