Eileen M. Zabolotny

FELTON - Eileen M. Zabolotny passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018.
Eileen was born in Roxborough, Pa. to the late Alexander and Elsie (Redgwick) Filewicz. She worked at Dunkin' Donuts for over 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Dover Air Force Base. She married her high school sweetheart, Phillip E. Zabolotny Sr. in Roxborough, and then moved to Dover, and then to Altus, Oklahoma, and finally to Felton.
Mrs. Zabolotny loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed vacationing in Williamsburg and Ocean City yearly, as well as walking up the road to get her Felton ice cream.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip; children, Phillip E. Zabolotny Jr., Christopher Zabolotny, and Amy Whittmore; brothers, Thomas and Bruce Filewicz; sister, Denise Macrina; grandchildren, Jasmine and Breanna Zabolotny, Phillip E. Zabolotny III, Alexander and Benjamin Whittmore, and James Zabolotny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901. A visitation will be held the night before on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE 19943. Interment will follow the mass service at Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
