CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Edwina Mae Kennedy died Mar. 27, 2017, in Whispering Pines Assisted Living, Rock Hall, Md.
Mrs. Kennedy was born on Mar. 2, 1934, in Berwick, Pa., daughter of the late Edwin and Dorothy Martini McHenry. In 1957, she moved to Warrington, Pa. where she raised her family. She had worked in the clerical department for the Crane Company for many years, retiring to Longneck, in 1997. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and her dogs.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Kennedy.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her children, Holly Daggers Johnson (Mike), of Chestertown, Md., Sharon Daggers (Nelson), of North Carolina and James Daggers of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelly Johnson (John), Jeffrey Gallen Jr., Jarid Gallen and Dylan Daggers (Daisy); great-grandson, Adrian Daggers; step-children, Kevin Kennedy (Anne), Lou Ann Baker, Diane Fusciardi, Marian Durgin (Donnie) and Patrick Kennedy and their children and grandchildren; step-siblings, Steve Kolet, Terry Kolet (Karen) and Barbara Kolet Nied (John); and a half-sister, Beth Anne McHenry Swisher (Ernie).
Services will be held privately by family.
