Edwin King Tilghman, 86 GUMBORO - Edwin King Tilghman, of Delmar, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord, Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at his home with his wife. He was 86. Ed will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Barbara C. Tilghman; his son, James E. Tilghman (Helen); his daughter, Sharon L. Long (Joseph); son, Elton Taylor; daughter, Shirley Taylor; daughter, Barbara Crockett; grandchildren, Jennifer Lord (Arthur), Michelle Hamilton (Scott), Jenny Crockett, Melista Crockett, Bryan Taylor, and Tuesday Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; and a good friend, Jimmy Chandler. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment with military honors will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury, Md.
