Edward S. Abrams

DOVER - Edward S. Abrams, III, "Eddie" of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the age of 50. Mr. Abrams was born May 22, 1963 in Wilmington, the son of Edward S. Abrams, Jr. and Druscilla Abrams of Millsboro. He was a Carpenter for over 20 years. He was mechanically inclined with an innate sense of fixing and repairing things. Eddie enjoyed fishing, crabbing and spending time with family, especially his granddaughter. He was known for his generosity with helping others and loved being around children. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Debbie who he just celebrated his 19th anniversary with; his daughter, Tammy and her husband, Cedric; his son, Joseph; his granddaughter, Kelis; his sister, Valerie; and other extended family members. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
