Edward Frazier Jr.

Frazier, Jr., 76 HARTLY - Edward "Sonny" Frazier, Jr. passed away Monday, August 8th, 2016. Mr. Frazier was born on June 13, 1940 in Chestertown, MD to Edward T. Frazier Sr. and Vera Smellet. He was a farmer, owning his own farm until it was sold. Mr. Frazier also worked at Playtex for 48 years. He was a member of the Modern Maturity Center and the YMCA, where he liked working out and did so until August of 2013. Mr. Frazier enjoyed farming both beef cows and grain farming. He is survived by his son, Dwayne Frazier, Sr. and his wife Becky, of Chestertown, MD; brother, Robert "R.L" Frazier of Hartly; and sister, Shirley Stauffer of Woodside. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Dwayne Jr., and Katelyn Frazier. Services will be held Noon, Friday August 12, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Road (Rt 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will follow at Templeville Cemetery in Templeville, MD. In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be sent to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive Suite 407, Newark, DE 19713. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
