DOVER - Edna "Eddy" M. Keck, age 93, of Dover passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 in Westminster Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Keck; two sisters, Marie & Ezell; a brother, Chris; and grandson, Phillip Carter. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Bonnie and Bill Pennewell; grandson, Jimmy Pennewell and his fiancé, Courtney Stewart, two sisters, Mamie McKay and Ruth Smith and her husband Jerry; and brother, Arthur Crisson. She met Howie who was in the Air Force at the time while he was visiting her family in Pittsburgh. They were stationed in Virginia, New Jersey. Newfoundland(where Bonnie was born), Texas, Nebraska, GooseBay Labrador and then finally in Dover, Del. in 1960. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Caesar Rodney Junior/Senior High School, National Cup Company and finally part-time with Playtex. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff at Westminister Nursing Home where she lived for four years. Visitation will be Noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb., 16, 2012 at Trader Funeral Home. Service will be private.
