Edith Ridgeway

DOVER - Edith Ridgeway passed away, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Courtland Manor, Dover.
Mrs. Ridgeway was born Oct. 1, 1938 in Dover, to the late Ernest Seeney and Margaret Durham Seeney.
She retired at the age of 70 from housekeeping which she did for over 50 years. Mrs. Ridgeway enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows and Law and Order shows, but especially being with family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Buddy, Brainard, Donald and Smith Seeney; sisters, Marie Hand and Dorothy Mosley.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony W. Ridgeway, Sr. of Dover; children, Andy Ridgeway of Camden-Wyoming, Susie Ridgeway of Cheswold and Alverna Ridgeway-Slacum of Dover; brother, Earl Seeney (Beatrice) of Dover; sisters, Leanna Gwyn of Smyrna and Joan Daniels (Sonny) of Dover; grandchildren, Andrea Ridgeway and Stephona Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening. Interment will be in Immanuel Union United Methodist Cemetery, Cheswold.
