Edith Louise Wallace

MILLINGTON, Md. - Edith Louise Wallace died on April 26, 2018 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, Md.
Mrs. Wallace has lived in Chestertown Landing, Chestertown, Md. the last several years. Louise was born on a farm near Millington, Md. the daughter of the late Norman "Dick" Wyatt and Martha Alexander Wyatt. Upon graduation from Millington High School she worked briefly at the Millington ACME. She worked at Playtex in Dover, for over 40 years, retiring as the Senior Editor in the ordering department. "Miss Louise" was a volunteer for the Millington Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active life member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Millington, as well as a member of the church's United Methodist Women's Group. She was also a trustee of the church. Mrs. Wallace enjoyed traveling, playing cards with friends, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved shopping and crocheting beautiful items for her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert S. Wallace and three sisters.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by two sons, Wyatt K. Wallace of Perryville, Md. and Stanley R. Wallace of Galena, Md., five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday April 30, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St. Millington, Md. A visitation was held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service also at the funeral home. Interment followed services in Asbury Cemetery in Millington.
