Earl Francis Fields Jr.

MILFORD - Earl Francis Fields Jr. was born to Earl Francis Fields Sr. and Helena Carney Fields on April 2, 1963, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He peacefully slipped away into eternal rest on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Milford Bay Health Hospital surrounded by his family. Earl Jr. attended Milford public schools until his graduation from Milford Senior High School in June 1981. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy serving his country honorably from June 1981 to April 1987. He was preceded in death by his sister, Olivia (Renee) Fields Asata. Earl is survived by his loving parents, Earl, Sr. and Helena Fields of Lincoln; two brothers, Kevin Fields of Woodbridge, Va., and Troy Fields of Oxon Hill, Md.; three sisters, Vera Hughes of Georgetown, Tonya Fields of Wheaton, Md., and Denetra Fields of Laurel; two sisters-in-law, Linda Fields of Woodbridge, Va., and Valerie Fields of Oxon Hill, Md.; two brothers-in-law, Willie Hughes of Georgetown, and Sunday Asata of Hyattsville, Md.; two aunts, Virginia Parker of Milford, and Patricia Stewart of Greenwood; five nephews, four nieces and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 West Division Street, Dover. Viewing will be two hours prior to the service. Services will be handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Milford.
