Dr. Dorothy Tennov of Harbeson died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in her home. She was 78.

Dr. Tennov was born August 29, 1928 in Montgomery, Ala.

She spent her earlier years in Queens, N.Y.

She received a bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College and a doctorate from the University of Bridgeport, where she was a college professor for 20 years.
