Douglas John Gitsham

CLAYTON - Douglas John Gitsham passed away, Sunday, Mar. 26, 2017, at home.
Douglas was born Sept. 2, 1964, at the Travis AFB, California to Barbara Lee Wylie Gitsham and the late CMSgt. Richard Thomas Gitsham.
He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, after high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed for four years in Nebraska. Douglas moved back to Delaware where he worked as a computer technician for several companies. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, vegetable gardening and his animals.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Barbara Gitsham; sister, Debbie Eberly (Barry); and brother, Scott Gitsham; nieces, Jessica Poe (Cody) and Sarah Dooley (Stewart), all of Dover; and his companion, Liz Krisko, of Clayton.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Monday Apr. 3, 2017, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd., Bear.
