Felton - Douglas Arthur Oatley went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 17, 2018, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
Doug was born Nov. 25, 1961, in Portsmouth, Va., and had worked briefly for Kent Sussex Industries in Milford. In his free time he enjoyed going bowling and listening to music, especially Elvis.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (McKenzie) Oatley; and his brother, Ronald William Oatley.
Doug is survived by his father, Arthur Oatley, of Felton; 2 sisters, Mary Chaisson, of Felton and Vicki James of Virginia Beach; and a brother, Robert Oatley, of Ashboro, N.C.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 10a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018, in the Maranatha Baptist Church, 605 Lebanon Road, Dover. Entombment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
