DOVER - Dorothy M. "Aunt Dot" Broady of Dover died, after a short illness, Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, in her home. She was 84.
Mrs. Broady was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Pulaski, Va., daughter of the late Ollie Price and Connely Garner.
She attended the public schools in Pulaski in the early 1930s.
Mrs. Broady relocated to Delaware, and after arriving, received her childcare license, which she enjoyed and took great pride in for more than 50 years. She played an instrumental part in the rearing of many children.
She was considered to be a role model, mentor and confidante, and was loved by many. Every year, she anticipated her vacation back home to Virginia. Her passions were children, home entertainment and having interesting conversations.

Services will be noon today in Jerusalem Baptist Church, Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier.
