Dorothy Elaine McIlvain Isaacs

BRIDGEVILLE - Dorothy Elaine McIlvain Isaacs, age 87, of Bridgeville, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, in Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Mary Ann Ward and Luther McIlvain, she was a waitress at the Woolworth Department Store in Milford before retiring. She is survived by two sons, Wayne A. Isaacs of Willow Grove, Pa., and Alton E. Isaacs Jr. and wife Pamela of Seaford; two brothers, Kenneth McIlvain of Bridgeville, and Allen Draper of Greenwood; two sisters, Elaine Rifenburg of Bridgeville, and Cindy Acquaviva of Greenwood; two grandsons, Josh Isaacs and Justin Isaacs and wife Erica; a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Everett Isaacs Sr. in 1970. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at 2 p.m., in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King Streets, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Carey's Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CHEER, 20520 Sandhill Road, Georgetown, DE 19947.
