DENTON, Md. - Dorothy E. Stockman of Denton died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, in Homestead Manor, where she and her husband happily lived for three years. She was 88.
Born in Baltimore, Mrs. Stockman was the daughter of the late Andrew Bauernschub and Dora (Colemary) Bauernschub.
She lived in Baltimore for many years, where she was a homemaker and loved to style hair for family, friends and neighbors.
Before moving to Denton, she and her husband had been living in Clearwater, Fla., since the late 1980s.
Mrs. Stockman is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank K. Stockman Sr. of Denton; a son, Frank Stockman Jr. and his wife Lou of Denton; two daughters, Rachel Ludwig and Genie Harris, both of Baltimore; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Earle E. Eder and David Lynn Stockman; and a daughter, Nancy Lee Stockman.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Leonard Ruck Funeral Home, 5305-09 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214, where friends may call from 2 to 4 this afternoon and 6 to 8 this evening.
Interment will be in Garden of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Homestead Manor, 410 Colonial Drive, Denton, MD 21629.
