Dorothy C. Seeney

CLAYTON - Dorothy C. Seeney passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.
Mrs. Seeney was born July 12, 1932 in Bridgeton, N.J. to Linwood and Mary Carney Coombs.
She was a seamstress for Leeds Travel Wear and also worked at Esther's outside of Smyrna making London Fog coats. Mrs. Seeney took an early retirement to care for her daughter through her illness.
Mrs. Seeney was a member of Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Linwood Coombs, Jr., Clarence "Pete" Coombs; and son, Harvey Seeney, Sr.
Mrs. Seeney is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank M. Seeney; son, Ritchie Seeney; daughter, Susan Schuh (Scott); grandchildren, Harvey Seeney, Jr. (Monica), Harley Seeney (Cindy), Amber Seeney, Ryan Seeney, Casey Seward (Derak), Jake Schuh; sixteen great-grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held, 12 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019 at Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4950 Pearsons Corner Rd., Dover, DE 19904. Friends and friends may call one hour prior.
