Dorothea C. 'Dot' Cohee Anderson, 77

SEAFORD - Dorothea C. "Dot" Cohee Anderson, of Seaford, died on Sunday, April 5, 2009, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 77. Dot was born in Woodside, May 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Mabel Chambers Cohee. She was one of six children and attended Caesar Rodney High School. She and her husband, Andy lived in Annapolis, Md. for 50 years before moving to Seaford in 2003. Dot is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene D. "Andy" Anderson; a son, Rodney Biddle and his wife Kathryn; three grandson, Rodney Biddle II, Shawn Biddle and Corby Biddle, and two great-grandchildren all of North Carolina; three sisters, Violet C. Marvel of Milford, Ila Cooper of Smyrna and Verna McMullen of Harrington. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Cohee; and a sister, Mary Clemens. Funeral Services were Friday, April 10 at St. John's United Methodist Church, Pine and Poplar streets, Seaford. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements by the Cranston Funeral Home, Seaford.
