'Barbara', 84 HARTLY - Doris M. Johnson, "Barbara," of Hartly, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Kings Lynn, England. Barbara was a devoted Air Force wife who enjoyed cooking for family, knitting, and playing bingo with her many friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert Futter and David Powley; and her grandson, Kyle Johnson. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Bernard Johnson; four sons, Gary (Christine), Steven (Lisa), Alan (Debra), and Jeffrey; two daughters, Donna (Herbert), and Patricia (Carlos); 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Edna Sillis of Great Massingham, England; and several nieces and nephews. A viewing will held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11 am in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will be private.
