Doris L. Hollinger

MILFORD - Doris L. Hollinger, formerly of Felton, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Milford Center. Doris was the last of nine children born on February 25, 1930, daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Hitchens) Roe. She was the best Mother, Nana and Mammy and was mom to all her children's friends. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom, cooking, crocheting and ceramics. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband Oscar E. Hollinger and three sons Bill, Larry and Philip Hollinger and a granddaughter Tammy. She is survived by three children, Linda Stubbs and her husband Bob of Felton, Chuck Hollinger and his wife Devorah of Palm Bay, FL and Ed Hollinger and his wife Debra of Choudrant, LA. , nine grandchildren, Carrie Ann, Cliff, Jason, Troy, Brandie, Amber, Andrew, Veronica and Bianca. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 17 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kent County S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
