Doris (Pugh) Hill Hazlett, 84

CAMDEN - Doris (Pugh) Hill Hazlett of Camden died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 84.

Mrs. Hazlett was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Frankford, to the late Ray Pugh and Martha Marshall Pugh.

Mrs. Hazlett owned and operated her own beauty saloon, then owned and operated the Hilltop Park and then became a homemaker.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover.

Mrs. Hazlett enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Hill, in 1981; her second husband, William Hazlett, in 2006; and her daughter, Robin Mae Hill, in January 2005.

Mrs. Hazlett is survived by two sons, Michael Hill and his fiance Kathy Little of Magnolia, and David Ray Hill of Smyrna; two brothers, Marshall and his wife Eleanor Pugh of Florida and John Pugh of Dover; and two grandchildren, Kortney and Ryan Hill.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.

Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
