Donna Marie Donovan passed away on May 9, 2025 at Kent General Hospital. Donna was the daughter of Charles Donald Donovan, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Donovan. She is remembered by her sister Gail Henderson, and brother, Charles Donovan, Jr. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, Lisa Geesaman, Sarah Geesaman, and Jessica Faulkner along with her treasured great nieces Reagan Faulkner and Morgan Faulkner. Donna was a pillar of strength, organization and compassion during her 21 year career at DNREC. She was a woman of deep faith and a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Donna also had a deep love of the beach and of reading. She was rarely without a book in hand. A celebration of life will be held for Donna on August 10, 2025 at 1 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church in Dover.
