Donna Lee Gartrell Snyder

LAUREL - Donna Lee Gartrell Snyder passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends, on Saturday Sept. 12, 2015. Born In Baltimore, Md., Donna is preceded in death by her parents; William Gartrell and Ellen Schaub, and her grandson, Paul Franklin North IV. Donna enjoyed watching her grandchildren play, gardening, and spending time with her family. Donna was a devoted mother, whose life revolved around her family. Donna is survived by her husband, Ernest Snyder; her ten children, Katina North, William J. Woods, Jennings Woods, George Adkins, David Woods, Sara Adkins, Aaron Woods, Wesley Woods, Angel Holland and Matthew Holland; three stepchildren, Tammy Snyder, Danny Snyder and Bonnie Layton, and 38 grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Polly Steele of Hartly and Laura Wisk of Felton and four brothers, Buddy Schaub, Sonny Schaub, Jimmy Schaub and Bobby Schaub. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123-1718. On Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, a private service will be held.
