RIPLEY, Ohio - Donna L. Carney of Ripley died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Culpeper, Va. She was 79.
She was born Dec. 28, 1926, in Concord, Ky., daughter of the late Elmer and Edith Regenstein.
Mrs. Carney was an antique dealer for most of her life. She had antique shops in Lock Haven, Pa., Dover, Del., Eastern Shore of Maryland, New Hampshire, and most recently Ripley.
She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Jane C. and Leslie Probst; grandsons, Alex Probst and Joey Probst, all of Culpeper; a son, Alan Carney; and grandchildren, Dean Carney, Read Carney, Zachary Carney and Sophia Carney of East Falmouth, Mass.; her sisters, Hazel Kirk of Ripley, Cleo Scott of Indianapolis; and a huge extended family that loved her very much.
Burial will be at a later date in East Fork Cemetery, Ky.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038.
