Donald Lee Lindale

Dover - Donald Lee Lindale passed away on Feb. 10, 2015. Mr. Lindale was born in Milford, Del. on June 7, 1950, son of the late Harry and Clara Moore Lindale. Mr. Lindale had worked for A&P in Milford after he had completed school. Afterwards he had worked as a car salesman, had worked for Wilkins Realty, and then had worked for Battery Warehouse. He was a 1969 graduate of Milford High School, and he met his wife Sharon and married her on Aug. 23, 1992. Mr. Lindale used to enjoy boating, motorcycle riding, horseback riding and going on cruises. He was a member of the Camden Moose Lodge. Mr. Lindale will be sadly missed by those who knew him. He was a very loving, caring, sentimental, hard working person who loved to help people. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry K. Lindale and William Lindale, and by his niece Kelly Lindale. He is survived by his wife Sharon Lindale; his daughter, Libby Walters and her husband, Bryan of Clayton, Del.; his son, Stanton Welch of Ohio; three brothers, Clifford Lindale of Milford, James L. Lindale of Milford and Eugene Lindale of Cocoa, Fla.; two sisters, Loretta Wootten of Felton and Jeanette Smoots of W. Melbourne, Fla.; four grandchildren; five nephews and seven nieces. A funeral service will be Noon Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Burial will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Camden Wyoming DE Lions Club Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 246, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.
