Donald James Edward Cote

Donald James Edward Cote, 48

SMYRNA - Donald James Edward Cote, of Smyrna, died Sunday, June 22, 2008. He was 48.

Mr. Cote was born March 31, 1960, in New London, Conn., to Carol Wilson Baker and the late Donald Cote.

Mr. Cote was self-employed, working for several companies such as Pulte Homes in the Cricklewood development and Benchmark Builders, doing home construction, maintenance repairs and construction.

He enjoyed fishing and playing billiards.

Mr. Cote is survived by his wife of 12 years, U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Tanya Marie McCue Cote of Smyrna; seven daughters, Michele Cote of Connecticut, and Rachel Ellen Cote, Rebecca Lauren Cote, Laura Marie Cote, Katlyn Teresa Cote, Lianna Kathleen Cote and Kimberly Frances Cote, all of Smyrna; his mother, Carol Wilson of Queens, N.Y.; and two brothers, Curtis Cote of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Todd Wilson of Queens, N.Y.

Funeral services will be noon Friday at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call two hours prior.

Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
