LAUREL - Donald J. Warrington, age 73, of Laurel, passed away on Feb. 10, 2011, at Kindard Care in Darby, Pa. Donald was born in Salisbury, Md., but lived in Laurel. He graduated from Laurel High School. He later entered and served his county in the National Guard. Then pursued his educations by graduating from Wesley College in Dover and Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa., with a degree in Business. Donald taught several years in Milford Elementary Schools where he live in Milford for a period of time before joining the family business in Laurel. Cherished memories include his enjoyment of gardening, reading and singing with the choir at Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury, Md., where he was a member for many years. He was preceded in death by his parent, Joseph and Marian Warrington, formerly of Laurel. Mr. Warrington is survived by his sisters, Beverly W. Smith of Seaford, Marlene W. Hamilton and her husband Walter of Georgetown; a niece, Kristine R. Blackman and her husband Garlon and their son Ryan of Easley, S.C. He is also survived by close friends, Steven Bailey and his sons Joshua and Christopher and Bonnie Abner, all of Laurel. A Funeral Service will be held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street Laurel, DE 19956, on Tuesday Feb. 15, 2011 at 2 p.m., where a viewing will also be held from 1 to 2 p.m. The Pastor Robert Reinert will officiate.
