GREENWOOD - Donald J. Kozlaski died suddenly on Sunday, December 7 2014 at Milford Memorial Hospital. Donald was born on August 2, 1953 the son of the late Albert and Theresa Grott Kozlaski. He was a horse trainer and was a member of Delaware Standardbred Owners Association (DSOA). Beside his love of horse racing, he loved spending time with his children, and telling his many stories to his friends and family. He also enjoyed being around the water whether it was fishing, boating, or spending time at the beach. He is survived by his partner in life Laurie, of 29 years; two sons, Donnie and Tami , and Tim and Katherine, both of Wilmington; a daughter Karen and Jake Gordon of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Lexi, Emma, Mia, Jayce, and Mason; the family of Francis and Patricia Ogonowski; and his dogs Hershey, Cupcake, and Izzy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, Del. 19950; viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
