Donald J. Jones, 75

Donald J. Jones of Greenwood died Friday, May 11, 2007, in his home. He was 75.

Mr. Jones was born April 1, 1932, in Greenwood, to the late William and Ida Mae Rowe Jones.

He served in the National Guard for nine years.

Mr. Jones was employed at the Seaford Dupont plant for 35 years, retiring in 1985..

He also was the founder of Jones Boys Septic Service, in 1970

Mr. Jones was a member of Temple Lodge 9 AF&AM.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, William and Nelson.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence G. Anderson Jones; three daughters, Donna and Jimmy Anthony of Farmington, Linda Jones and her companion, John Dean, Brenda Hill and her companion, Kim Short of Bridgeville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fleischauer Funeral Home, W. Market Street, Greenwood,

Instead of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Greenwood Vol. Fire Co. Greenwood, Georgetown Hospice, c/o Fleischauer Funeral Home, W. Market Street, Greenwood; or a charity of choice.

Burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
