Donald E. Rinaldi, 65

FELTON - Donald E. Rinaldi, of Felton, died Friday, March 20, 2009, in his home. He was 65. Mr. Rinaldi was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Peekskill, N.Y., to the late Phillip Rinaldi and Helen Lafontaine Rinaldi. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Rinaldi owned his own Contracting Company for 21 years, Donald Rinaldi Home Remodeling Service. He enjoyed Classic Cars. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Arlene J. Kraycheck Rinaldi in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Dottie Hodges and her husband David of California, Md.; his brother, David Rinaldi of Verplank, N.Y.; his sister, Barbara E. Travis of Felton; and three grandchildren, Dakota, Travis and RJ Hodges. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
