GEORGETOWN - Dolores T. Willey, went home to be with her Lord peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 4, 2022. Dolores was born in Dagsboro, Delaware to the late Raymond Toomey and Lillie (Hudson) Toomey. She retired as a Case Manager for the State of Delaware in the Day Care Licensing Division. Dolores attended Crossroad Community Church. She was known as a Prayer Warrior and that was her gift from God.
Dolores was predeceased by husband, William "Bill" Willey. She was reunited with her Love, Bill in their heavenly home with their Lord and Savior.
She survived by her loving daughter, Andrea Finkbiner and her bonus son, Tim and two grandchildren, Nicole E. Chafin and Dylan A. Finkbiner; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE 19947. A time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
