Dolores J. Craycraft DOVER - Dolores J. Craycraft, 88, North East Ave., Dover, passed away Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at Courtland Manor Nursing Home Dover. She was born on October 22, 1921 in Wheelersburg, Ohio to James and Zea Ferguson Haislet. She moved to Washington D.C. to marry her sweet heart Harold Claycraft. She raised three children, then started a career at the age of 36, as an Executive Secretary for the Eastern Conference of Teamsters. She learned to drive at the age of 50, then at age 70 she traveled to Ohio to care for her 98 year old parents for 2 years. She was a member of The Deciples of Christ Church in Maryland, serving in many capacities including Choir Director for more than 25 years. She moved to Dover in 1999 when her health started to decline and became a family member of the Presbyterian Church of Dover. She is survived by her son, James Craycraft; her daughter, Ann and her husband Les Souder, daughter, Nancy and her husband Rick Sparks; her beloved granddaughters, Dana, Kristen and Erin and their spouses; along with four great-grandchildren all of whom will have wonderful memories of the remarkable woman. Arrangements and cremation services are by Trader Funeral Home, Inc. After which her children will take her "home" to Ohio, for services and burial with her family. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Research Association of America or to Compassionate Care Hospice of Delaware. Letters of condolences may be sent to www. delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
