EASTON - Dianne P. Dyott died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her home. Born August 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joshua E. and Helen Tucker Prettyman. After graduating from high school in Sussex County in 1955, she worked a life-long career with C& P, now known as Verizon, for 32 years as an operator, then as a repair dispatcher. In her spare time, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, sewing, knitting, and watching her grandchildren play all sports. She is survived by her husband, Herbert S. (Herbie) Dyott, Sr., whom she married, May 21, 1960. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Lisa Ann Dyott, Steve Dyott (Wendy), Holly Pippin (Dwayne), Hope Dyott (Wayne) and Jill Marie Sherwood (Tommy); four brothers, Mark Prettyman, Corky Prettyman, Joe Prettyman, and Stevie Prettyman; two sisters, Fay Shockley, Brenda Prettyman; and seven grandchildren, Ashlie, Sarah, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Joshua, Kyle and William. Services will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April, 30, 2013 at 11 am. Friends may call on Monday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home in Easton. Burial will be in New Spring Hill Cemetery.
